Reading the Notes on the Staff
Just getting started reading notes of the Staff? It can be overwhelming. Start simple. Try focusing on a few notes at a time- perhaps the 5 notes in the C Penta Scale: C D E F G, and memorize where they are- on the staff and the keyboard. What you find here is a guide to most of the notes on the Treble and Bass Cleff. It is meant as guide: print it out and keep it close to your keyboard when you practice. Don’t try to memorize all of these at once. However, it is helpful to see pattern of how they are laid out. You’ll get the hang of it!
