This super fun Late Elementary Duet is a definite winner for your students! Perfect for performances, matter of fact, this Duet was commissioned by the Fort Worth MTA for use at the TMTA Convention in 2025.
In the Introduction, you can hear the train pulling out of the station in the Secondo, while the Primo has speaking parts to encourage everyone to get on board!! The A Section features a melody in Primo while the Secondo knocks out a fun boogie bass line. The B Section offers a twist - giving the melody to the Secondo. The piece then returns to the A Section to wrap things up. Look for some more speaking parts at the ending and a big splashy glissando!
Add more sparkle to your performance - feel free to add a train whistle or a conductor's bell or maybe a snare drum to help keep the beat, or whatever else comes to your imagination - to bring the story to life!
