Take flight with Pteranodon: Sky Dancer, a lyrical piano solo inspired by one of the ...most recognizable flying reptiles of ancient times.
With sweeping melodies and graceful musical lines, students imagine gliding on ocean breezes, soaring above towering cliffs, and exploring a world far below.
Rather than rushing from note to note, this piece encourages students to think like a musician—to shape phrases, follow the contour of the melody, and create a sense of effortless motion through the air.
