Deck the Halls Boogie, Piano Solo Arrangement, Early Intermediate
Deck the Halls Boogie
Deck the Halls as a Boogie? Why not!
This arrangement is inspired by my Method Book - 20 Favorite Christmas Songs: How to Play Lead Sheets. In the book, I use this carol to teach about playing a typical Left hand Boogie pattern and there’s even a few boogie licks thrown in to make this one really fun to play!
Key: F Major
Time signature: 4/4. BPM = 162
Skill development: Left hand pattern as taught in my Method Book - 20 Favorite Christmas Songs: How to Play Lead Sheets. Study this arrangement to see how many other patterns I use, as well as: identify the chord symbols, what other chord tones are included? Can you transpose this Boogie pattern to other keys and then improvise a melody? Use the 12 Bar Blues structure to get started.
Level: Early Intermediate
How long: 42 measures. 2 Pages. 1:10 minutes performance time.
This is a Single License: One purchase - One copy. Thank for honoring the composer’s work by not sharing with anyone. Encourage them to purchase their own copy please!
