Ice Cream Scoops is highly patterned based to ensure easy learning for beginners of all ages. It includes a full conductor’s score and the three separate student parts, plus Backing Tracks. This Trio is great for Rhythm and counting practice, with lots of chances to count the rests and play the 3 repeated quarter note pattern. Encourage your students to make up words to say in these spots like, “Ice Cream Scoops!” or “I want some!” or maybe their favorite flavor: “Chocolate Chip”. Any 3 syllable phrase will do.
Good practice using accidentals. F# in Right hand and A flat, B flat in the Left hand.
Key: Middle C position. Play parts in different octaves.
