We 3 Goblins STUDY SHEET for Creative Ensemble Playing

$4.00

Did you know my Subscribers received this for FREE? Good October 23 - 26, 2023! Check your email for the code!

Give your students some flexibility and let them create their own ensemble!

This Study Sheet from We 3 Goblins contains all the parts you need: Introduction, Melody line, Counter Melody, Bass line and Ending. (If you use the Backing Track, make sure to go back and play the Introduction one more time, before you play the Ending.)

Written much like my At the Gym format, which teaches the elements of a song: Melody, Counter Melody and Bass line; this trio lets every student learn each part independently. For those who are able, move on to next part, while those who need more practice can stay on the Melody (play 3 times) for the whole performance.

FREE Backing Tracks

How to:

Teach each part separately. When ready…

All play the Introduction together. Then assign part order:

Student 1 play Part 1 (Melody). then Part 2 (Counter Melody) the Part 3 (Bass line)

Student 2 play Part 2, Part 3, Part 1

Student 3 play Part 3, Part 1, Part 2

All play Ending together. (OR if using Backing Track, play the Introduction once more before the Ending)

Ask your students, How else could we organize this? Do you have keyboards? Could you use different sounds for different parts? I’d love to hear what you come up with!
