I am loving this bright and beautiful “Sapphire” piece. The imagery draws me in and creates a story in my mind every time I play it. What has also drawn me to this song is the opportunity to improvise M 25-36. I have had so much fun sitting down at the piano and playing something different there most days. I had to give myself permission to not be perfect – but to have fun!! I demonstrated this piece to an incoming family of three new sibling students yesterday and they all loved it!! This one is a crowd pleaser and a pleasure to play.
